Smart and sassy Samantha Bee and her hubby Jason Jones, two correspondents on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show, are getting a pilot. The plot, “will revolve around the behind-the-scenes world of a celebrity chef (played by Jones) and the two women who run his cooking empire (one of whom will be played by Bee).”
The show will run on CBS, known for such comedic giants (no) as Two and a Half Men and some other stuff that isn’t funny enough to watch nor remember the name of. Since her prior work dictates that the show should be hilarious, expect it to be canceled after one show.
