SARAH PALIN TO BAM BAM RUBBLE: HEY, LOOK OUT FOR THAT T-REX!

By Lark

Now I love entertainment with dinosaurs and up until about two seconds ago thought it was all pretty un-sinister, but perhaps it is confusing to some who never realize as they grow up, maybe missing that day of history or biology, that this is not true and that dinosaurs came before people.  Like, way, way, way before people.

Palin is a confirmed Creationist, which has given many a laugh here and there, but is actually very frightening. A local music teacher recently told the LA Times about a casual conversation she had with the VP pick in which Sarah insisted that men and dinosaurs both lived on an Earth created 6,000 years ago — about 65 million years after scientists say most dinosaurs became extinct.

Whether these dinosaurs were kept as pets, al la Dino on the Flinstones, sang loving and popular childrens’ songs in the vein of Barney or wore clothes as in the clip above, is a mystery.  In 1997, Palin had a similar conversation with Wasilla resident Philip Munger. Palin told him that “dinosaurs and humans walked the Earth at the same time,” When he asked her about prehistoric fossils and tracks dating back millions of years, Palin said “she had seen pictures of human footprints inside the tracks.”

So if she is seeing that, what else will she claim to witness with her lying eyes?

During an October 2006 debate in the Alaska governor’s race, Palin urged that evolution and creationist ideas be taught together in state schools. “Don’t be afraid of information and let kids debate both sides,” she said, but ended up never pushing the idea.  But she thought it, which means, she probably still thinks this.

Like I stated above, at first it was funny, but at this point it’s just become a bad sitcom we can’t turn off.  Hopefully though, as with the fate of Dinosaurs (shown above), it will get canceled.

I dont think that idea is entirely terrible, why not teach children both sides? albeit not in public schools. If you wish them to know the “creationist” or religious history, put them in sunday school. the education system will handle the evolution theory. it’s our jobs as parents to either force feed our religion to them or help them figure out questions that might let them decide waht they believe on their own and in their own time.

Hey, at least on astronomical terms, being off by 64.994 million years isn’t too bad. NOT!!!

[...] world is not flat, dinosaurs did not co-exist with humans, we are all the one species no matter our skin color, and America is part of the world. [...]
