This was a tough one today. I was seriously going back and forth between The Rolling Stones’ Wild Horses and Angie – since both songs would be fitting of major events from today:
(1) The U.S. Government getting in the horse slaughter business
and (2) the lovely Angelina Jolie finally going to the hospital to drop those babies she’s been carrying around. (MD wishes her well with that, by the way).
But since Angie’s story is about life and the about other death, we felt it was appropriate to give these beautiful mustangs a proper send-off, if this is ultimately their time. They’ll be plenty of opportunity to dote and make dedications to Angelina’s new babies.
And what could be better for a send-off than The Rolling Stones? They’re who I’m going to want played when my time comes.
