Shadow has been beating me to the punch lately so I have a couple of new songs for you.
-Pop Levi - “Never Never Love” (MP3)
Flamboyant and funky, Pop Levi is back with his sophmore album The Return To Form Black Magick Party. Love it.
-Neil Halsted - “Paint A Face” (MP3)
Some of you may know Neil as the front man of Mojave 3. Others, like me, have been waiting for a new album since his amazing 2002 debut Sleeping on Roads (please listen to this album, if you haven’t heard it). Well, it finally happened. Look out for Oh Mighty Engine July 29.
-Throw Me The Statue - “If This Is It” (Huey Lewis Cover)
You may recognize this band’s sound from the Rhapsody commercial featuring Lolita.
(Tracks Via Stereogum)
But wait…You didn’t think we would forget. NEW BECK ALBUM OUT JULY 8!!!!! Check out a few leaks here.
